On the Friday evening preceding the Urban Legacy Tournament there will be a ceremony honoring the memory of Grandmaster Peter Urban, and celebrating the history of the Hoboken YMCA where Master Urban once taught. A plaque will be unveiled in his honor, the Mayor of Hoboken will issue a special proclamation, special guests will speak and a brief demonstration will be performed, all in Master Urban's honor. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
